Supervises substance abuse recovery participants. The position will insure that the goals, programs and policies of the Tribal Employment Rights Office (TERO) and the Eastern Band of Cherokee Indians (EBCI) are implemented and in compliance with tribal, state (as applicable), and federal laws. This is a lead position that requires assigning and reviewing work/case records of the participants being supervised. Work includes developing work plans, enforcing work standards for the positions within the control of this position. The position requires maintaining statistical measures of cases in process, analyzing those statistics and managing performance of the unit being supervised to meet performance outcomes.
- Interact with internal and external customers / clients in a polite and professional manner.
- Develops process for evaluating services programs in order to track the impact of the respective participant and to analyze data to determine the effectiveness of each activity.
- Monitors case activity and periodically reviews cases to ensure that appropriate services are provided and referral sources are developed and utilized.
- Evaluates participant work performance through regular review of completed work assignments and compliance.
- Provides regular program updates to Mother Town Program Supervisor.
- Maintains confidentiality and adheres to HIPAA regulations and EBCI policies.
- Maintains an inventory of all equipment, tools, and supplies.
This position is supervised by program leadership. This position is responsible for supervising assigned personnel.
Experience: Experience to include agriculture, farming practices, landscaping, small equipment operations or human services.
Education: Associate’s Degree in related field required. Equivalent combination of education and experience may be in lieu of degree, with required related experience of an additional: 3 years with a High School Diploma/GED equivalent.
Licenses & Certifications: Valid insurable NC driver’s license.
